Most users will receive an email invitation to join a WalkWise group by a user with Admin permissions. Click on the link within the email, create a secure password for the account, and accept the terms and conditions.
Manually creating an account #
To manually create a WalkWise account, click the Register button on the Login screen. Enter a username, email, and secure password. The password must be at least 6 characters long and include an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number, and a special character. Accept the term of conditions and choose to view data in feet or meters (this can be changed later).
While you can log in with your newly created account, your email will not be verified until you click the link in the verification email sent shortly after account creation. Most WalkWise groups do not allow unverified accounts to access the groups.
Forgotten password #
Click the Reset Password button on the Login screen. Enter the email address associated with your WalkWise account and click Send Request. If an account exists for this email address, an email will be sent containing a link. Remember to check any junk mail folders for this email.
Click the link in the email, enter your email address again, and provide a new password for your account.
Click the Logout button in the top right corner of the page to log out of the account. If the browser remains idle for more than 15 minutes, the account will be automatically logged out.
